Gary Oliver Prieve, 67, of Litchfield, died Aug. 31 at St. Cloud Clinic. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Dwelling and Cremation Service in Litchfield and also one particular hour prior to the provider.
The son of Oliver (Ollie) and Virginia (Ginger) Prieve, he was born Dec. 8, 1953, in Litchfield. He was lifted in Litchfield alongside with his two sisters and graduated from Litchfield High University in 1972.
Gary married his superior college sweetheart, Linda Christenson, at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield Dec. 9, 1972. This union was blessed with daughters, Missy and Laura, and son, Adam. Collectively, they lifted their family in Litchfield.
Currently being in the automotive market arrived all-natural to Gary as did owning a solid perform ethic. Rising up, Gary labored with his dad at Ollie and Son Auto Wrecking and acquired the small business so that he would be equipped to continue on with his dad’s legacy. After substantial college, he also opened Gary’s Towing and ran equally businesses right up until 2007 when he bought the auto wrecking small business to start out Gary’s Towing and Tire. He operated the two the towing small business and the tire store until he marketed the towing small business in 2014. Because then, Gary operated Gary’s Tire Shop.
When he cherished functioning on automobiles, Gary also relished admiring all would make and designs at car exhibits. He could be observed driving all around town in his 1940 Chevy and his Studebaker tow truck, frequently with his wife by his aspect. Gary unquestionably loved taking Linda on four wheeling journeys to Emily. Seeing The Andy Griffith Exhibit, Carol Burnett, and old Westerns ended up how Gary expended his down time. He appreciated a great joke and shared a lot of with the men at the shop. Gary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

Gary is survived by his spouse, Linda Prieve of Litchfield kids, Missy Prieve (sizeable other Prosperous Wanek) of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Laura Talvitie (Daniel) of Large Lake, Adam Prieve (major other Abby Garin) of Litchfield grandchildren, Tifani Johnson, Trinity Johnson, Christian Johnson, Dayla Talvitie, Hannah Talvitie good-grandchild Salem Petersen sisters, Susan Ulrick (Steve) of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Sara Fider of Bismark, North Dakota.
Gary was preceded in loss of life by his mom and dad his sister, Sandra Prieve and his nephew, Ryan Allen.
